Configuring Static IP Address in Azure Virtual Machine

In this blog I'm going to show you how to configure Static IP Address in Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine, Normally all virtual machines are assigned IP address dynamically but for the server configuration needs to assign Statically.

1. In the Azure Portal Select your Virtual Machine, in this demo I'm selecting my server named Domain.

2. On the Server Page Click Networking.

3. On the Networking Page Select Network Interface: domain475

4. On the Domain475 Select IP configuration and then click your Ipconfig1 It's 172.16.1.5 (Dynamic)

5.In the Ipconfig1 page Select Dynamic to Static under the Private IP address settings, and then click Save.

6. Now you can check your server IP is 172.16.1.5 (Static).
